A buddy just got his dads old 30 Newton and was wondering what other cases can be used to form into the 30 Newton.His dad also has a set of 30 Newton RCBS dies but 30 Newton cases are almost 2 bucks each from Buffalo arms.

30 Newton is easily made using 8X68S brass. That is what the Buffalo Arms brass is actually made from.
One pass through a 30 Newton FL sizing die, trim to 2.520 inches, chamfer the case mouth and load. 8)
There is a guy here in Whitehorse who has a whack of 8X68 brass, or at least he did have. Let me know if your friend is interested.

Martini and Hagn in BC usually have 8x68S cases, that's where I got mine from. - dan
