30 remington cartridge

Can someone tell me the parent cartridge of the 30 remington. Hope i posted in the right place. Thankyou
 
The 30 Remiongton was like rimless 30-30, and I am pretty sure that it didn't have a "parent" case.

It is now being used by some target shooters as a parent case for a 6.5mm or something like that...
 
Which 30 remington? I checked the 6th edition of the Hornady Reloading manual, they list a 300 Reminton Short Action Ultra Mag, and a 300 Remington ultra mag. They are both based on a 404 Jeffreys Case.

It was Remington's answer to the 30-30 win, similar ballistics in a rimless case, buddy has a nice pump chambered in it built pre-war, ammo is occasionally available if enough demand is there, Rem pumps out a batch, or you can build your own.
 
I thought it was the same case as a 35Rem, was informed recently that is not the same case.

Anyone know about this?

25,30,&32 all use the same case 35 is different. 30 Rem can be made on a lathe from 30-30 or 225 win and then formed in your dies. 35 can be lathed from 303brit or 30-40 krag and then formed.
