I've got a 30 year-old Bushnell Sportview 4X scope on my 270.
It was a freebie that came with another gun. It has helped me kill deer, but intend to remove it soon and replace it with an older but still solid Leupold 4X M8 scope anyway.
I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion on the quality of Bushnell then compared to now, and the difference between the Bushnell grades of scope (Sportview, Banner, Trophy) then and now.
I know my 28-year-old Bushnell 7x35 binoculars are very solid and clear.
Should I keep it to put on my as-yet unscoped Winchester Model 43 in .22 Hornet?
