I've got an itch to try this caliber, never have shot it, and I'm stuck with the idea in my head that I want a 300 Blackout in my collection.

Anybody know of any Remington 700's in 300BLK for sale in the country, new or used?

I was in this a while ago then decided to grab a Ruger ranch in 300 blackout (non AR magazine type), swap the stock to Magpul's American hunter along with 3 x modified MDT magazines for less than 1k. It gave the impression that you kinda assemble the rifle, lol.

The rifle do about 1 to 1-1/2 moa at 100 meters, not bad.

The purpose of this rifle is for the rounds that I bought on discount for the last two years, very close to 3k of Hornady.

Actually, it's also great for new shooter especially when thay have been shooting 22lr all day, has a bit of kick and louder than 223 Remington but cheaper than 308 win.

I picked up the axis blk and couldn't be happier. I did have the extraction issue but savage sent upgrade parts free. The gun is so much fun to shoot.

I have the rem 700. It wouldnt feed any bullet, they would all point somewhere other than into the chamber. I put a cheap legacy sports detachable mag and bottom plastic it works great now

I bought a Ruger American Ranch Rifle in 300 Blackout this past Summer (as I had a lot of 300Blk ammo doing nothing due to the OIC). I paid $700 for it and it takes AR mags (it comes with a 10 round AR pistol mag). I put a Vortex Diamondback 4-12 on it and have put about 150 rounds through it, ranging from 110gr VMax to 208gr Sierra's. I selected it over the other 300Blk bolt action rifles because it takes AR mags. I haven't loaded ammo specifically for this rifle yet, but I am looking forward to see what kind of accuracy it produces. The rifle is light and handles easily due to it's short length. The action is okay and could use some smoothing out, and the trigger is really good for a rifle at this price point. The mag release isn't the best (compared to an AR), but for a bolt action it's okay. The stock is pretty standard, nothing fancy and is like any of the other Ruger Americans (Savage Axis and Rem 783 stock quality). I am happy with this rifle so far and would recommend it if you want an affordable 300Blk bolt action.

Just checking back to see what the market is like. Missed out on one today, fella was looking to trade his Remington 700 in 300 BLK for the same rifle in 223, which I have. After two hours texting him back and forth setting up the trade, taking lots of photos for him, and letting him haggle down the trade price on my rifle, he then told me he had sold the gun at the start of the conversation, but still wanted to buy mine.

I politely refused, as the only reason I dropped my price was because it was a trade. He got offended and stopped talking to me. Some people lol.

Still want to scratch the itch.

I wanted to build up one with a short barrel just long enough to clear the front of a Cadex Strike Nuke chassis by a inch or so.

A tikka action or worst case a Remington action.

Run a 1-8 or a 2.5/10 on it. Faster twist so maybe a IBI barrel and keep it set up for heavy Subs mostly

Not knowing much about 300blk. Where would this caliber fit in the bolt lineup? Isn’t 300blk only good for about 100 yards before it drops significantly?

If looking for .30cal subs in a bolt gun, why not just run subsonic .308 loads? Not trying to dissuade anyone from running a .300blk, different calibers are fun in and of themselves. Just curious considering it would be so much easier to do in a .308 since were is no need for AR-15 form factor.
