I was curious if anyone can help me with this new cartridge? Is the .300 Blackout the same and is it interchangeable with the .300 Whisper???? any info would be greatly appreciated. Thx ahead of time.

According to the new, 9th Edition of the Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading, they are virtually the same.
" the difference between the two is that the chamber throat of the 300 AAC Blackout is 0.015" longer than the 300 Wisper. That is a small difference, but handloaders wanting to seat their bullets cloaser to the lands should keep that in mind. Reloading dies are identical between the two cartridges"
