300 gr. SSt in a single shot ?.

I got a couple of old cooey single shots the lock up is great so would there be any saftey issues putting Sabot slugs in a smooth-bore old single shot *other then recoil * ?.

I was looking at the 300 gr. SST Slug's with FlexTip from Hornady .

Those are meant for a rifled barrel. I'm sure you can send them safely down a smoothbore. I would not expect any kind of accuracy tho
