What do you guys use as 300 yd targets? Is there an internet site that has them. I've checked targetz.com and a few other sites, but haven't found anything specific.
Try the DCRA website. They have dimensions somewhere with various official target dimensions.
I have drawn up a 300 yard target based on this in Cadd. I can send you a pdf if you send me a PM with your email.
The target fits on a 30 inch piece of paper I seem to recall, you would have to take it to print shop for engineering/architectural prints unless you have another source.
You could always call the DCRA office that is at Connaught Ranges in Ottawa and ask about buying some. They should have a good stock of DCRA 300 yard faces with 300 yard and 300m wear centers. You might even be able to purchase 300m ISSF target faces there too.
8.5"x11" sheet of paper with a big X does just fine at 300. 1 gallon milk jugs are pretty easy to hit. Clay pigeons are good. Eggs are a great challenge.
If you dont need to see your grouping, get cheap ceramic tile's on special, or left overs from a project, their a blast to shoot that far, you know when it's a hit.
