300 Norma Mag - Lapua brass

I wasnt aware of this cartridge and its selection as US “the advanced sniper rifle” cartridge (accdg to wiki) ... why wouldnt they simply select the 8x68s?? The Germans had this one figured out in the 1930’s

Why?
They choose 30cal round b/c 8/57 lost to 30-06 TWICE in WWI and WWII.
Germans still need figuring it harder to advice others how to proceed.
GR8 2c worth....

We import directly from Finland by container and this helps, especially as the EURO is high. Also margins are as low as possible. At least 7% Tariff is no longer applied.

Wow. Maybe the modern snipers should use Mosin Nagant rifles as well - I mean it worked okay ~80 years ago, why try to make anything better?

On another note, Norma brass is junk, so good to see other options becoming available.

Thanks Troy, at least most agree with your kind words. We have come to realize that it is impossible to please 100%, but we try and are now more efficient with extra staff.

Best regards,

Peter

While I haven’t found my 300 Norma brass to be having the problems, as some guys are seeing, I am curious to see how much more consistent the Lapua stuff is.
And have always had top notch service from Peter and his crew out there!

Lapua brass may or may not be more consistent, but has always been ahead in metallurgy - i.e. tough and softer where it has to be.
