Possibly getting in to this cartridge. I have a couple hundred Sierra 190gr HPBT, but I can't find any load data for this.

Anyone use this combo before?

What twist is your barrel? I haven't used the 190's before. Mine is a 1-8 and likes the 212 or 225 Hornadys. I have used 300 win mag loads as a reference.

Would be 1:9.5

It seems that 210gr and up is the way to go, but I am sitting on a lot of smaller projectiles that I'd be wanting to burn through first. I guess my main question is regarding OAL. What should it be?

OAL is determined by your rifle.

The magazine length may determine the max OAL, if you use the mag.

I usually seat to 20 thou off the rifling. 50 thou for a mono bullet.

The OAL will vary from rifle to rifle and season to season. My rifle throats erode forward about 5 to 10 thou per season.

By the way, there is a technical name used for those "projectiles". Those familiar with firearms call them "bullets".

Lol. Yes. Bullets.

And that makes sense, thank you. I was assuming that there would be a general OAL for that bullet in that cartridge.
