300 saum

great cartridge... A bit shorter than the WSM's so it fits a short Remington a bit better.
Dead or not, all you need is a set of dies and a couple hundred brass and you're set for a long time.

But, but, but what happens if I go hunting and I forget my ammo? You can't get any .300SAUM at the general stor in Buttfudge, Saskachewan!:D

The guy that forgets is ammo usually forgets his detachable magazine, glasses, wallet and truck keys so cant go anywhere anyways. LOL ;)
I have the Model Seven in 7mm SAUM and love it. I dont reload but purchased lots of ammo while they were blowing them out.

300 Saum

I bought one this last spring,(Rem mod7), and a dozen boxes of factory ammo.
I had the rifle bedded and put a muzzle break on it, shooting the factory 180gr is about like shooting a 243 win. It's a keeper. Handloading for it comes close to factory velocities but you can not quite equal the factory rounds.

I like the saum series of cartridges, longer neck, I find they are better for reloading and darn accurate, certainly in my Sendero anyways.
