168 gr Berger VLD @ 3600 fps with 4628 ft-lb’s muzzle energy

Yesterday I watched wildtv and was impressed by this cartridge. The lady shot a bison with 168 grain bullet, the monster did not move even a half step. It collapsed on the track. The bullet she used could be different from the one I posted, iirc, it was barnes

I think that lady using 300T was hunting mule deer with her husband and lady shooting bison used 7WSM Tejas.
I dont know did we watch same episode but i remember i seen this because it got my attention as well.
This is basically 7WSM,7 mm Rem.Mag,300 WSM ,300Win.mag,300 RUM and many other catridges used but they have neck done same process as Weatherby is doing.
Company that make guns and guns in Tejas cals.particulary is called Cross Canyon Arms

The ultimate question is, is it hotter than a 30-378 weatherby.

Hodgdons:
Bullet Sierra SPBT
BulletWeight 150 grs
Powder Hodgdon Retumbo
PowderWeight 119 grs
Velocity 3690 fps

Weatherby factory ammo:
165 Barnes TSX
FPS 3450

I once asked a guy what he hunted with the 30-378 weatherby after I sold him a few boxes of it. He laughed maniacally and said "anything".

Good for anything in North America. :dancingbanana:
