my opinion is unless you regularly shoot game at 450+ yards, and have the time to practice alot at long range from field positions and are able to withstand heavy recoil, it offers absolutely zero advantage over a 300 WSM or 300 Win Mag

as for the Sendero 700, they are excellent rifles I owned a SF in 7mm Rem Mag and it was a good shooter. the Sendero SF II should be just as good

As Todd said, get a 300 WSM or 300 win mag, a lot less powder and a lot less noticeable recoil. I looked at the sendaro SF for a while,(in 264 win mag) but for regular hunting, I think it would be too heavy to carry after a while.... but if the weight doesn't bother you. I prefer a lighter rifle to carry all day and then take the one shot in the field, I don't worry about the extra recoil, it beats the extra weight.

I have .300RUM in Remington LSS and all can say it is a great rifle. My long kills influenced my friend to buy same rifle. It is great for those who hunt between 300-400yr and know very little about scope adjustments, just sight in 0 for 300 and shoot for 400.
It is an easy cartridge to load, just take bit of the powder, mine 86grain of AA3100.

Good Luck

If you are going to shoot 200gr+ bullets then get the rum. Mine shots 200 accubonds very accurately at amazing distances.

And that is exactly what I use, 200gr AB behind 86gr of AA3100, with V0 of 3050fps.
My accuracy at 100yr conservatively speaking is 3/4" and sometime I am able to go under 1/2".
The only modification done to the rifle is a Basix trigger, set down to 2lbs.
I think lighter trigger helps with flinching when shooting heavy recoil rifle.
