I have a 338 RUM Sendero with a Leupold VXIII 4.5-14 and the B&C reticle works pretty good, the only thing is at 500 yards I am hitting 7" higher than the zero which isn't that bad.

Who brings those barrels into Canada?
How do I get one?

I'd get a McMillan and I would loose those rings.

Why is everyone so critical of the rifle?

The OP lives in a fantastic hunting area and will be able to use it to hunt elk, moose, deer, bear, goat, sheep, wolf, coyote. If he is a determined hunter he should be able to easily fill every tag and remain very close to home.:) If he needs any help I would be happy to direct him to exact locations to fill tags.;)

Good for you on your choice. I hope you enjoy.

That's an expensive and very precise barreled action to be sitting in a stock that is costing him accuracy and more importantly repeatability.

I have owned those rings and have had grief with them...They are junk from another era.

What is negative about the truth?

Its still a great rifle, but it could be better yet. ;)

Having owned two custom 300RUM rifles of my own,I would never have such a light barrel on a 300RUM.Then again,I wouldn't have an SPS stock or a brake either.:D
