300 weatherby mag

just got a new 300 weatherby and was wondering what sort of price is fair,i got it for a steal.Not realy my gun of choice but could not pass up the price. its a vanguard deluxe wood stock.can anyone give some infh and its brand new.

I paid $1200 for mine NIB but i also go 3 boxes of ammo and dies.

I paid $600 for mine, German built Mk V, with Hensoldt scope on claw mounts, 10 boxes of Wby ammo and a Latigo sling. Of course, that was some time ago, lol. - dan

I've shot a .300 Weatherby Mark V for avout 15 years and love the rifle. I load my own and shoot 180 grain Nosler Partitions, nothing gets up and walks away

I prefer the 200 gr Partitions myself. Run them out around 3000 fps. Good ballistic combo. - dan

300 Wby is a great caliber although I just sold my 300 wby and upgraded to a 300 RUM but the price on your Vanguard deluxe I have seen them as low as $879 in 300 wby. Good luck with your new gun

I just paid 850 for a remington 700 ss in 300 wby mag. Rifle made in 2004 but unused. Love the rifle.
