300 win mag chamber length

Does anyone know what the standard chamber length for the 300 win mag is? Not the max case length but the actual saami chamber length. Mine measures 2.660" which is .040 over the max case length. This seems a little long to me.

check Clymer's website..they have reamer drawings which should tell you the SAAMI specs...they say minimum is 2.644...."K" plus "O"...
