Are there any available in canada? I know atrs has plans for one in a few yrs but i have been looking and can't find anything even remotely close to what im looking for now... even something semi tactical like the fnar, i would like a long range semi thats somewhat portable, i know there is a non restricted 338 lapua but its close to 20 pds without optics.

Of course you don't NEED that to hit at 1000, some skill, some practise and an old surplus Nagant/Enfield/Mauser are all you really need

ATR's modern hunter could easily be configured to hit at 1,000 you don't need a magnum calibre to do that - 6.5 Swede will do it, so will 308.

That's about what i was thinking, i wonder if the pistol grip stock from the mr1 will fit on it... or if the fnar pistol grip would fit on a Browning bar... or maybe i should wait a couple yrs For the mh... shame that there are a few nice 300 semis out there but are restricted, would love something light i could take out for coyotes as well. Maybe mh in 308 it is until they release the magnum.
