I don't shoot the fast 300's a lot so I'll confine my comments to the 338wm.
I've had good results with reloader 19, 22, 25, IMR 4350, H4350, and H4831. If one is shooting a 338 I don't see the point in shooting bullets lighter than 225, or 250 when you get right down to it. My experience has been that the heavier bullets have a higher BC and tend to fly longer and move less in wind.
My best results have been with R19 and H4831 shooting 250's. I did find increased POI variance with the R19 under hotter or colder conditions.
My pet load is 71 grains of H4831sc with a 250grn Swift AFrame.
