I have been reloading for awhile now but i just started to reload 300 wm
im using rcbs full lenght dies and a lee factory crimp die. The problem i have been having is that every so often i will load a reloaded round into my tikka
and i cant close the action, ive check case overall lenght which is under the max, the only thing i can see is rubbing marks on the case neck bevel. Has anyone ran into this or im i doing something wrong?

thanks C

Sounds like a FL die adjustment to me. Try turning it in another 1/2 turn. Are you trimming them?

Get a Redding body die. You can run your loaded rounds through them to bump the shoulder back. I will agree that you die is out of adjustment.

"...fired from your 300wm..." The FL sizer die should deal with that. The die should just kiss the shell holder with the ram all the way up. Make sure the die and seating rod are locked tight too.
"...trim with a..." Cases measuring all the same length after using it?

I would bet you are crunching the shoulder seating the bullet ever so slightly. I've done it before where they wouldn't close the bolt and I couldn't tell them apart without my caliper.

That just may be because i have been using the crimp die and i find it is sometimes snug at the top of the pass.

After you have brass fireformed to your rifle you may need to use a bump die or body die once in a while instead of full length sizing.
