Don't have a favorite yet for 165/168 for my .300 WSM- missed my opportunity to get my powders sent up to Nunavut (they are now sitting in Ontario until at least next summer).
However, two powders that I purchased for 165/168 grainers, based on the recommendations of two extremely knowledgable and experienced sources, are Viht N550 and Viht N560.
Viht N550 was recommended by John Barness in a Pet Loads article that appeared in Handloader magazine. Vitht N560 was recommended by DrMike from the Nosler forum (personal correspondence). I believe he has worked up loads for 30+ .300 WSMs. How? He is blessed with the job of developing loads for clients of a custom rifle builder.
The Viht powders are pricey, but they are apparently of very high quality (unlike IMR4350 and RL19, these powders are temperature insensitive).
