Hi all, this weekend I will be running an RNBRA "Circle Training" event at St. Antoine Gun Club (Moncton area), on Sat & Sun 15-16 May. This is open to newbies and advanced shooters alike, and non-RNBRA members are welcome to come and shoot as guests (though I would really appreciate an email to let me know you're coming so that I can prepare for you!)

See my new RNBRA Fullbore Section blog for more info: http://rnbrafullbore.########.com/

sounds like a good chance to get into the sport.I am looking at getting into distance shooting.are spectators welcome at the matches?.i would come to the circle training but am busy this weekend.damn..thanks for your help..

newf344, yes spectators are welcome, though I warn you that it is terribly boring to watch (!!!). Anyhow, by all means consider yourself invited to come visit us at any of our matches. Most of our matches are at CFB Gagetown, I will put up some driving directions and the location on Google Maps on my blog page next week. See the RNBRA Fullbore Section schedule for match dates.

If you can, contact me a few days before the match. If you have a rifle, you should bring it out. If not, let me know and I'll bring out my scoped M70 .308W and you can shoot that if you would like. It's a lot more interesting to spend a day watching rifle shooting when you get to do some of the shooting... ;-)

Thanks for the info..i'm going to try to get to one soon.I'll try to bring my .223 once i have a load worked out..Thanks again for the invite and use of a rifle.ill keep watch on the schedule an dyour blog..thanks.

too bad MORE notice wasnt posted farther ahead..........my son and .i would have attended

Daniel puts all of his heart into this and most likely more effort than anyone else around. If he didn't post earlier I'm sure it was because he was busy doing something else or couldn't commit until recently.

Too bad more shooters aren't appreciative of how much he does for the Atlantic crowd.

GUESS YOU took my reply in A BIT OF THE wrong context sir...........not judging anyone but it is tough to plan on going to ANY EVENT WITH NOT MUCH NOTICE.

I AN HAPPY TO SEE any such event or clinic .
but i need to plan due to shift work ect ect.
thanks an hope the clinic was a success,

Hi NB.nagantsniper, no offence taken. Glad to hear you're interested in coming some day. Have a look at the RNBRA Fullbore Section schedule for match dates, if any of them sound do-able you can always ask me or somebody else for more info on them.

More details on the blog http://rnbrafullbore.########.com/ but we had ten people show up on Saturday (including three new guys!!) and eight on Sunday, and had a wonderful time.
