I finally got all my ducks in a row and am looking to start relaoding. The first caliber that I am looking to reload for is my browning bbr in 300wm. What kind of bullet powder combo should I be whipping up? For now I am thinking of using cheap bullets for practice basically. I should also mention that I have the speer manual at this time and am leaning towards their bullets but I am open to others.

When I started with 300win it was Reloader 22 and Rem 180gr Core Locs. I have used H1000 and H4831 for powder. I have shot a lot of Hornady bullets in different weights. Nosler 180gr Ballistic Tips were always mine favourite for deer. 150gr make great bullets for lighter shooting at the range used H4350 with them. Lots of guys on the site to give you some more Ideas.

Favorite bullets of mine are the 180 grain boat tail spitzers. They are cheap to buy, plus they perform very well. IMR 4831 or RL 22 will work well. For other ideas check out www.reloadersnest.com on the left side of the page you'll see the rifle loads. Check there and there are plenty of good loads, it's always a good idea to verify loads found on the internet with your reloading manual, though. Good luck, Eric

I've had good results using IMR4350 with 180 gr bullets. Have been able to equal factory velocities without pushing the envelope very hard. H4831 has given good results as well.
