I just got some RL 17 and will try it soon.
What size bullet are you planning on shooting?
I've been really impressed with the new W780 supreme powder shooting the heavy bullets in 300 wsm.

If I bought a 300wsm it would be the first powder I would try

It is marketed as good for the WSM series. Should be excellent in the 300WSM.
I've begun using it in my 35Whelen - gives good velocity - accuracy yet to be determined. I will try it soon in my 350WSM wildcat and 35Whelen AI. Guessing it should be very good. Burn rate like IMR4350 but not as bulky so can get more in the case.

I have had great success in my 300 WSM with Norma MRP. I have reached maximum working pressures [and good velocity] before the powder load is compressed, so I believe it would be hard to beat with another, faster burning powder. Regards, Eagleye.

Hi I plan on shooting 150 partitions,if they don't shoot go up to 165 then to a ttsx.I loaded up a bunch but got called out to work the minute I pulled onto the range.(my buddies farm)I think I'll have to see the velocity gains reported to believe it.The alliant website is claiming 200fps on some calibers.robin
