303 Bolt problem

Hey Guys,

I have a 303 No.1 MK III, the bolt head pops off the rail when chambering a round. There is too much lateral movement in the bolt but I cant figure out where.

The rail hook on the bolthead seems a little worn. Is this a common issue with these older guns?

Not unheard of. It would be worth trying a different bolthead to see if it makes a difference.

If you do switch bolt heads, remember to have headspace checked before firing again.....
