303 brit. with AA2230c

Got my hands on a couple of pounds of AA2230 and the gunsmith told me i could use it with a 174gr 303. I`ve been going through my books and can`t find any load for a 174 with 2230. theirs data for a 150gr and a 180gr thats it. Ay suggestion would be appreciated.

Use the 180 data and work up.

174 is close enough, it's only 3% lighter.

Think of it as a 3% safety buffer in your favour.

Best accuracy with the 180 is about 2250 ft/sec. Add any more speed and you lose accuracy.

Bullet placement counts. It doesn't matter if you have 9000 ft/sec if the thing misses.
