These are 174 grains. Does anyone have any experience with these? Can you give advise regarding favourite loads? I have a Lee die set and a collet neck sizer to use. My supply of powder is from a few years ago....X3031 and AmmoMart #55. All other types are low so will probably have to buy something new. I'll bet I won't buy IMR 4895 for $7.60 again! Thanks...Dave

I use them in my 303 match rifle (Shilen barrel) and they work well. I also have had my best accuracy with 4895 (new Hogdons). The rifle is built on a P14 and loads are too hot for any Lee Enfield. Accuracy is right around the 3/8 moa mark for 5 shot groups so they are a good bullet.

I've had good results with these bullets, too. Maybe my lot was a fluke, but I miked one of these bullets and found that it actually measured .3120 even though it was advertised as a .311 -- a pleasant surprise.

Personally, I really like IMR 4320 with this cartridge, and it works wonderfully with this bullet.

The only thing you need to decide is whether your barrel will work with this bullet. The Sierra Matchking is a real thoroughbred, and not all old Lee-Enfields will be able to perform well with this (or any) bullet.
