303 British

Canada ammo has some pulled projectiles out of surplus 7.62 that will work for 303 brit. 150 for 1000 i think - if fmj is what u want

The hillbilly reloading recipe off the internet is to buy a bulk quantity of loaded milsurp 7.62x54R.
1) Pull the bullets and set them aside. Weigh a few dozen and record the weights. It will be something like 147 or 150grains.
2) Weigh the powder and record the loads from a few dozen rounds. Go to the load books and see what weight of powder matches the weight in grains to the pulled loads. This is not an exact comparison because each powder burns differently! However, with a cross-reference between arsenal weight and reloading book weight, look at that commercial powder in the .303BR tables for the weight of bullets.
3) Buy commercial powder and carry on.

I cast using a lyman 314299 and I have made them shoot inside a 5 cent piece at 60 yards no problem at all. the deer I have shot with them did not know what hit them and dropped them on the spot. shooting cast will save you lots of $$.
