.303 British

You won't find surplus in Crappy Tire, if that's what you want, but they certainly carry commercial hunting ammo.
"...Absolutely ANY store in Canada..." That's no exaggeration either. The .303 British has been a staple for hunting in Canada since just after W.W. I.

1: Not difficult at all.
3: Absolutely ANY store in Canada that sells ammo will have .303BR.

Last year about a month before deer season opened I could't find a box for less than 25 bucks. Seemed like all the wally worlds and crappy tires ran out. I just happened to be in a crappy tire getting some oil and I noticed they were putting out some .303 so I grabbed 4 boxes. The rest didn't even make the shelf, they were also gobbled up.

got about 750 rnds of ball surplus sittin in a box in the stash.... after reading this thread... think i'll keep sittin on it.... or go out and shoot some.
Picked mine up in vancouver a couple years back..... try lever arms or italian sporting goods.... ya never know.
as far as commercial grade, never had a problem finding my federal classic 180 high shoks..... they always come in those handy lil "hunter value pack" boxes, says it right on the box. Anywhere that sells ammo should have em.

Igman can be bought relatively cheaply, and then you can build a stash of reloadable brass. Cheap .303 really only results from reloading any more, the last 'Special" I saw on .303 ball was at Lever, but it was UMC (Remington) and close to $800 for a case of 1,000. I was tempted, but $800 is quite a lot of money.

Is there any surplus left?and if there is who wants to give up their source?
Man,I remember back about 10yrs ago picked up 2 bandoleers of FNB made .303Brit on striper clips for about $30,wish I'd got 20 Bandoleers.

I managed to pick up 4 or 5 bandoliers at a show here in the Vancouver area about 5 years ago at that price! I was happy to say the least. :D

i have been saving brass for the 303 for years... for that day that never seems to come... reloading... hehe
i think after i pick up a few more toys... i'll finally add reloading equipment to the budget... ;)
