.303 Greek Surplus... for those who said it was all gone.

Nothing too weird. Just means either it was sorted due to corrosion, etc or the government required it to be "destroyed/remanufactured".

The second picture of the HXP rounds (at the link I provided) show some discolouration on the brass and rust forming on some of the stripper clips.

Any chance of you importing some of this stuff, CanAm?

This is what the Greek stuff looked like -

Proof that you never know what will turn up:

Really wish we could get some of it up here.

For $189 Yankee bucks:

Caliber: .303 British
Bullet: MK7Z Spitzer
Grain Weight: 174
Muzzle Velocity: 2440 fps
Boxer Primed
Reloadable
Non-Corrosive
480 Round bulk case in 48 rd Boxes

Guys in the 'States who tried to order it reported getting a "backordered" message...the day it posted, so who knows if they had more than a case or two.

Sigh.....to have the stars align so 1. this .303 came readily available 2. magazine capacity laws allowed a return to normal capacity and 3. the CA (and FAs also) Brens could come out of the lock up.

If you want a good commercial flat base bullet to reload for the .303 try the spitzer style Sierra 180 gr Pro-Hunter #2310.

Unfortunately that bullet is almost as hard to get as the Greek .303 ammo!

Do you know who might have any for sale in Canada?
