Ive got a 303 LEE ENFIELD remanufactured by Churchill Gunmakers, England
anyone know what they are worth?

These commercially converted rifles are usually nicer rifles than the average home conversion. They seem to sell in the 150 - 250 range.

Another of my "I never should of sold it rifles". Mine was a Churchill Arms Monte Carlo stocked rifle, very nice wood, with a black forend tip,and cheek piece, deep rich blue, #4 action, 22" barrel, ramp front sight with a gold bead, and a 5-shot magazine. Cost me a whooping $65.00 new. Sometime after this pic was taken - fall '73 I think - I added a 10 shot magazine to it.

I have this pic which I've scanned from a damaged slide. I made it big to show as much detail of the rifle as possible. Crap - it scanned backwards - oh well you get the idea - and no it's not a left hand rifle.

I originally got it without a stock but it came with a factory 5 shot and the finish was or looked as new, I ended up putting a Synthetic stock on it.

ill post some pics tonight or tomorrow.

I have a Churchill no 4 also. Nice walnut stock wood and really nice bluing. I feel they are the best of the commercial sporters. Some Parker Hales come close but not quite as nice. I paid 350.00 for mine and I feel it was worth it.

cheers Darryl

I have a Churchill #4, which I quite like. Paid 135 large ones for it from a local shop, not too many years ago. Mine has very nice wood, with the shnaebel foreend. Its unfortunate that you dont have the original wood - that was the draw, for me at least...
