First off, friend, it might help if you described the rifle correctly.
I THINK you might be talking about a Number 4 Mark 1 rifle, which was made from 1931 (in England) through to the present day (in Pakistan) and in large numbers during WW2.
The actual Number 1 Mark IV was a very rare conversion of Boer War rifles to SMLE standards. A number were rebuilt from old rifles in 1908. VERY few exist today; it took me over 40 years to find one.
If your rifle has provision for a rear aperture sight above the bolt and it has no provision for a barrel-mounted sight, then it is a NUMBER 4, which was made in several MARKS.
Interesting point is that the Butts all interchange with no trouble on the whole NUMBER 4 series of rifles.
So you are looking for a Parker-Hale butt for a Number 4 Rifle. Likely you want one of the pretty ones with the cheeckpiece and the nice commercial buttplate (much softer than brass or steel or Zamak!). Likely your ad would get better attention if you said that you needed a "commercial Parker-Hale sporter butt for a Number 4 Lee-Enfield".
I am quite sure that somebody out there will have one in good condition, at a fair price.
Good luck in your search!
