Take a Brass rifle brush of 32 or 33 caliber and attach it to a good cleaning rod. Insert from the chamber end up into the neck of the stuck case and then pull backwards on the rod. Case will usually just slide right out. EE

Just insert it like you would a live round, close the bolt on it then open the bolt. The case should come out. Most of them can also be adjusted for tension on the case mouth by turning in/out the screw on the front of the extractor

Screw it out until the extractor chambers with a little force, if you have it set for maximum tension it may not be able to fit through the case mouth, so back it of in small increments until it fits.

DO NOT USE THE BOLT TO REMOVE THE STUCK CASE!!!!

Put the stuck case remover into the chamber inside what is left of the cartridge caseing, then tap it gently into place. Then insert a cleaning rod from the muzzle end and just let it drop into the bore.
Using the bolt puts a sideways preasure on the case and will make it tougher to remove. Hitting it on the end from the front works a lot better.

Say what? Guy asks for help and this jibberish is your response??

Well isn't it the truth, there everywhere! Wouldn't waste my time trying to fix an old crow bar! It's like wasting your money on a SKS.

Most rifles have a strong following. Just because you happen not to like 'em, don't berate the rifles of others.

+1. To paraphrase another GunNut, we all collect precious metals ... the kind that go BANG. All shapes and sizes.

I had this happen to an m1 carbine on sat i used a .223 chamber brush from the chamber pushed it thru the case and pulled it back came out is 2 secs

Alright if you think that a crow bar is special then oh well! And your right I wouldn't waste my money or time. Step up to a National Match M-14 that's worth fixing at any cost!
