303 savage takedown 1899

hi I have an opportunity to purchase a model 1899 303 savage takedown in good condition. Seller is asking 650, I don't know much about these rifles, would this be a good price and does anyone know of anyone who produces ammo for these.

I got some factory ammo from Canada Ammo a while back contract loaded by Hornady called Graf + Sons
You can get dies and brass ..but might have to do some looking
Price doesn't seem over the top to me for the takedown model

I have bought .303 Savage brass from both Trade-ex and Budget (Henry) recently. Good quality brass and very easy round to re-load for. If you don't reload it might not be much of a shooter though.
