.303 Savage

The Savage answer to the .30-30 Win. It's mostly a reloaders cartridge now. Buffaloarms, in the States, lists the brass at $82 US per 100. It uses a .308" bullet and regular large rifle primers. Redding, RCBS, Hornady and Lee make the dies, but it'll likely be a special order in a shop. There's data on line or shoot me an email and I'll send you the data from my Lyman book.

303 Savage ammo

There was 160 303 Savage cases on a table at the last HACS show. The dealer was asking $1 each. Most were C-I-L, and Imperial brass. He also had 4 or 5 boxes for sale at 35-45 a box.

"...he might make up a few rounds for me..." Send me the dies, shell holder and components and I most certainly will.
Reloading makes shooting obsolete and difficult to find ammo possible. It also lets you shoot ammo tailored to your firearm.

And then there's the liability issue !
