303 "surplus"

Anyone know where to find this type of product in Canada or similar "cheap surplus"? Most threads end up with few if any answers.

Gunshows are about the only place to find .303 surplus. Don't expect "cheap".

Like others have said you have to reload.

The lee loader classic is by far the cheapest method to reload. That's what I use and its great

I've got about 120 rounds of fresh Canadian surplus 303 ammunition.

A Ranger buddy gave it to me.

I even shoot a couple now and then when I take my Ross or LE out.

You can find even cheaper here from some of the sponsors.
But it is not Federal ammo, they carry Sellier&Bellot and PRIVI, both are as good.

WOLF (WPA) ammo made in russia is dirt cheap in the states and actually pretty good. Just wish someone would import it

The Army doesn't have any need for .303 Brit hardball ammo. The only use for .303 is in predator defense for the Rangers and similar groups, so commercial soft point is usually what gets bought and used.

I have checked and the least expensive I have found is $27.50 for 20 S&B FMJ; I just rechecked with near all...

Multiply those prices by 1.4 and it isn't so cheap.

I believe CanAm said landed price would be close to $1/pc. Might as well buy brass cased winchester from Walmart at $26/20.
