.303 surplus

has anyone come across any surplus .303 ammo in their travels? used to be everywhere. seems tough to find in bulk now

i havent seen that stuff in canada ANYWHERE.

it would be sweet cause i really want an enfield but i think ill wait till i start reloading otherwise ammo would kill my wallet

Century had stacks of cases of surplus .303 at a Kentucky gun show a few weeks ago. Others had commercial .303 by the case at reasonable prices.

"...Century had..." Likely POF or Indian ammo. There's none listed on their site.
The supplies of good .303 ball ammo are long gone. The CF destroyed their last supplies, except for what gets issued to the Rangers, long ago. Part of the Socialist F**k fiscal irresponsibilty.

sunray ive got a 2 or 3 year old SGN here somewhere that was advertiseing 1970's canadian 303 by the case

the americans seem to allways have a good cheap supply of ammo in any cal

I love how 800 rnd case of 7.62x54r was $99ish U.S and $300.00 canadian.......

Yeah, aint that the truth.
I live very close to the border, so back when it was easy and legal to do, i used to order ammo by the crate through Shotgun News, and have it delivered to a UPS receiver in Blaine WA, about 5 miles south of me.

I got at least two crates of mixed headstamp, mostly corrosive stuff for $70 per 1000! No, thats not a typo, I meant to say 1000, not 100.
Also got a bunch more British made RG 1950 stuff in bandoleers for about $100 per 1000.
Should have bought a crapload more.
Coulda, shoulda, didn't. Story of my life.
