I'm loading up some 303 and having a spot of trouble. Using RCBS FL and neck size dies. I've got some Sierra 125's, .311, that I wanted to use but can't get them to go into the case mouth. The Hornady 174's went in fine because they're a boat tail design. I mic'd the inside of the mouth and noted that it was comfortably .307ish but could be forced with the calipers to read around .312ish. I've never reloaded a rifle caliber before, what am I getting wrong?

on your deprime die mic the expander ball and tell us what it is. By a long shot maybe the wrong one is on that die set.

0.310" should be correct for the expander. Have you chamfered the inside of the case mouth? That may help.
