303Carbine's target

here is a target that I shot today with my 1895 Marlin 45-70 at 185 yards.The bullets are 420 grain cast over 41 grains of IMR 4198.

OK, that's a different group , shot with 350 grain Hornady's at 200 yards (out of an 1895 Marlin 45-70)

The 45-70 can be a very consistent shooter. There's something about "long, slow bullets" that really puts them in there.

Russ thats a valid question..........thats why after 2 shots like that I stopped.
