307 loads

does anybody have some loads with varget or rel 15 with 150 to 170 grn bullets. all the books i have are fairly old and don't include newer powders.

IMR 4064 is about the same burn rate as RL15 or Varget, and would be a good load to try and duplicate. Start low and work up slowly of course.

I had the most luck with 40.5gr of IMR4064 behind a 170gr Hornady. It grouped around 1.1/2" to 2" at 100m. Not bad for a 94'.

No, never checked the speed. I guess one of these days I need to pick up a chrony...

i never used to be a crony nut but now i have one its like an obsesion. some loads you think are fast are suddenly slow. some loads you go wow thats fast. it adds to the fun and more stuff to pack.

I do not list velocities or pressures in my loading data pages. Too many variables.
