I have been buying bits and pices awaiting the arrival of my norinco m305 18.5 , I have ordered from armtac the threaded castle nut device for adding standard muzzle devices and am now looking for a copensator type device to keep the muzzle rise down ... Any suggestions on Canadian avalible muzzle devices? It will be setup with a 1-4x scope and a tacpro cheek riser for short to medium range shooting ... 3 gun style with a battle rifle if that makes any sense ?

I've been using the Smith Enterprises brake for a few years now. No complaints, does exactly what it says it should do. Looks cool. You can find them at Armtac.com. The one I've been using is the SEI Good Iron M14 US Coast Guard Brake.

The one that armtac sells, assuming its the one I think it is, Is designed to accept ar10 muzzle brakes. As far as I know there are not as many options for the ar10 as there is the ar15. I would look for reviews on ar10 muzzle brakes, and watch some videos on youtube or something for comparions.
Most muzzle brakes are available somewhere in Canada, just a matter of finding them. I know I didn't really answer your question as to who carries them.
I'd find one your interested in then track down a dealer.

Have you fired this rifle?

I haven't experienced a lot of muzzle rise with either 18.5 or 22 inch barrels.

I haven't recived my rifle ... It is on the slow boat from china I guess , they say it will arive in a month or so ! I have been buying a few things for it and I got the 5/8x24 castle nut adapter so standard ar10 muzzle devices can be used ... Now what one do I get ??? The only one I have seen is the vltor compensator

Isn't there a canadian outfit that's been around awhile now? 'Vais' or somethin like that? I'd seriously check them out.

Should be there anytime, My credit card is burning in my hand as we speak. Knowing frank, it will screw on to existing thread. His stuff is purpose built for the Chinese rifles and the Canadian market.
