.308 deprimer/decapping pin broken

hi all
i recently acquired a set of Lee .308 dies but the deprimmer / decapper pin is missing was told it had broke. now i am looking for a replacement but all i see is the universal decapping pin, and i dont know if they will work in the 308 dies? just wondering if anyone has ran into this problem before and know the answer to this

If a local LGS doesn't have the necessary decapping pin for that die you can email Lee, explain to them the situation and they may send you one for free (Lee is pretty good with customer service) or you can go on the web site and order some. I recently bought some spares for my .303 British on the web site and was only charged for shipping (about US$15). More than they cost if an LGS carried them but my mine doesn't.
 
all lee decapping pins are different- the top part also expands the neck on the inside

you are also looking in the WRONG SPOT- what you want is the die parts breakdown- the one that shows the die body, the nuts , etc- there's only about 4 parts to the die- die body, decapping pin/shaft, threaded top, 2 nuts to hold it in- that's what u want- it may show the universal decapping pins b/c it has the same part number as the rest of the decaping pins- hence the UNVIVERSAL DECAPPING PIN

Where are you located? My LGS has all kinds of replacement decapping pins and such in stock.

We have the 308 decapper pin in stock
t-star is wrong when he said " ll Lee decapper pins are the same". All rifle decapper pins also include the neck sizer button and is specific to each caliber.
The (30 cal ) 308 decapper pin is only $5.00 and is the "short" version also. You can use a 30-06 decapper but the shaft is simply longer and will stick out of die that little extra

hi all thanks for all you help i was in contact with lee and they set me up with new decapper pins for me 308 and i also had a 9mm that the bottom pin part came off and i fixed it, and they were nice enough to send me both the 308 and 9mm free i just had to pay shipping. Rustywoodtc is right the rifle pins are specific to cal. and if they are FL or NS just incase someone else is wondering the same thing.
