I'm not sure if this should've been posted in the gunsmithing section, so feel free to move it if that's the case.
I've got two .308 enfield barrel's, but they're slightly different-
The one in the white is stamped .308 at/on the breech and the other one that is park'd, is Canadian Arsenals made and stamped 7.62 and CA at the muzzle.
I'm not totally sure of nomenclature, so go easy on me
My question is why would the chamber on the barrel in the white be cut flat and the CA barrel is beveled. Is one of them not fully finished reaming yet, or is the one that's got the bevel a 'mistake'?
Any help would greatly appreciated.
