308 Mag Question - Preference

Which 308 based mag do the more experienced users here consider to be better, or best, C1, M14, AR10, G3 etc?
Steel or polymer?
Looking for mag reliability and known feed issues.

I can't say anything based on experience, as I've only used one of those mags. But from what I've ready on US forums, the steel FAL mags seem to be a favourite for the 7.62x51 round.

I'd say the Commonwealth (Inch pattern) FN mags were about the best out there,of course they are heavy but are extremely well made.
