I had a member give them to me this last summer (Thank you Brad)

I can find load data in my Hornady manual , but only for the Marlin express...

I would like to try these babys out in a 30/06 or a 308

Can I safely split the difference on the charge between 150 grain bullets and 170 grain bullets and seat them to the seating ring on them ?

Have different powders H4895 and IMR4064 to find loads with
Or am I playing with fire ?

These are not for hunting , Just plinking

Mate I personally can't see a problem with using them in a 06 or 08??

They are the same size at least ;). I loaded some 308 proxies in the 303. Last year an for plinking or close 'I need food to live' situations it worked....... No Inch of accuracy though , understandably.

What I will say isssss

You should be able to find 165gr recipe for the 308 which if u drop off a few Gr an work up should be fine.

iIRC I used around 44gr of 2208(Varget). For 150gr. Loads........ Don't quote me but around 39/40. Grains aught to be Enuff .....

Your powders are quite a ways away from the Accur 5744 on the powder list. Send an email off to Hornady. I'm sure they would respond with some beneficial info.
Those bullets are made exclusively for the .308 Marlin Express. The same bullet with a different product number is made for the .30.30 . They are not interchangeable. The .308 M E is #30396 and the .30.30 bullet is30395. One would think they coulds be used in just about any .308 bore but pressure is everything with these bullets. I would contact Hornady myself. My two cents.
