308 Match

Quick question for the experts.
Can anyone explain the difference (if any)between:
308 Win and 308 Match or 308 Winchester Match
I have purchased 308 Match brass assuming it is a higher quality but the same dimension as 308 Win.

You would be correct. Match is same stuff, only quality control is "stricter". At least we hope so as we pay more for it!

yup match brass is just that match grade brass, if you feel the need to step it up, lapua brass is even better..

but! if your loading for a factory chambered rifle (factory barrel) you prbably wont see any differeance in accuracy by useing match brass
