The word 'Norma' on anything adds to the cost. Just like the word 'Cadillac' does for car parts. Adding 'Weatherby' to anything adds to the cost too.

I have a few different boxes of Norma bullets,they are a silver aloy of some kind, lead sp tip.But from what I can make out on the box they are the same as Nosler Partition's..... DAN>>>

Nosler Partition was "invented" many years after the H mantle.
Also, the Ballistic Tip, they had to pay serious cash to CIL over that "new" idea, I still have a few SabreTips kicking around.

I have a 308 Norma Mag, and have not shot any factory ammo in it, ever! I resize virgin 300 Win Mag Brass, trim to length, load and fire away. I still believe it to be the best balanced 30 cal mag out there. I also own it's ballistic Twin, the 30-338 Mag. My Norma Mag is Very, Very accurate with the 180 & 200 Partitions using Reloder 22 or Norma MRP. Regards, Eagleye.
