I have been reloading my original norma brass for the last few turns through the press but I'm looking to load more than 60 rounds at a time. Anyone with experience resizing other mag brass to fit. I've been told the best round is the 30-338 followed by the 7mm. Any help is good help. I have come across some new brass but they price out at almost $1.50 a piece

I used to size 7mm RM up. It worked well. I suspect sizing .338 WM down would be ok too.

Set your full-length resizing die to neck down 338 Win Mag brass so the bolt will just barely close on a reformed case. This will give you perfect headspace for firing.

Have made lots of 308 Norma Mag this way. No need to trim brass as it is just a tad short after sizing.

Like 1899, I have also used 7mm Rem Mag, by necking up and allowing the belt to control the headspace. The fireformed cases are a bit shorter than those formed from 338 brass.

I made a bunch once upon a time from 300 win, found with remington brass I could just full length size and trim to correct length. In my norma mag the neck had enough room to allow this without neck thinning required, yours may not. I used to like all my brass to be correct length, now however I don't care if it's 30-40 thou short.

Use .300 win mag .Lube inside of necks with q-tip and lube .300 case up to where .308 NM shoulder starts.FL size in NM die and trim to length...chamfer inside and outside of neck.Easy as that..........Harold

rechamber to 300 win mag or buck up and buy the brass

That is a sacrilege, Mark!!!

The Norma brass is expensive, but is good brass.

However, NEW 300 Win Mag brass works well also.
FL size in the 308 Norma Mag die, trim to length. [Do not get lube on the shoulder area]
Load up and shoot away.
Never seen any neck thickness issues whatsoever.
I prefer Winchester brass for this operation.
