308 Norma

I have read that Barnes did not publish any data for the .308 or the .358 Norma in the #4 edition... Best to use the min data from the X-bullet and work up.

Good caliber. My favorite 30 cal magnum. I'm shooting a Schultz & Larsen and what it 'likes' best is a load I have using Sierra 200gr SBT's. There are a number of Moose I've met that hated it and the accuracy with that bullet has been great for me. Don't know if you're interested, but if you are, PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you a scan of the target with reload info.

I have a FN Browning Safari with the double stepped barrel conture in .308 NM and it is a shooter.71.5gr of IMR 4350 under a 150gr Hornady makes one hole at 100 yards. Also 72gr of H-4831 under a Hornady 180grSP is just as accurate.Fed LR mag primers and Norma brass for both.*use at own risk..............Harold
