.308 win, 20 inch barrel, good allround bullet choice?

My 20" Howa loves the 165 Accubond, does not like any TTSX with comparable weight so the Barnes are used for barrel fouler until I use them up.
The long range Accubond in 168 gr. shoot amazingly well also, had to try them out of curiosity as I bought them to use in the 28 Nosler..

Hi Kevan

What are you using for OAL with the 165g AB's?
Did you choose accuracy or mag OAL in your choice.

Which powder?
I getting some some compression with lapua brass and Varget

thanks

Friend swears by 150gr Federal Premium Vital Shok with Nosler Partition bullet.

But ultimately, try a few different ones to see what functions best in your rifle.

Partitions are a good choice if the gun will shoot them accurately. I have owned some rifles that would and some that had trouble keeping shots inside a 6" circle @ 100m, however I've never seen a partition fail.

The 165 accubonds have been pass through bang flops on all the deer and bears I've taken with them, seems to me they had lots of penetration left to offer but dropped everything fast.. (haven't tried em on anything bigger tough)
