.308 win

in the past ive had good accuracy with 150gr rem corelokts, for hunting deer. an due to the 308s behaviour under 2800 , i found it held SP projectiles quite a bit better than my reloaded 30-06. so i either use premiums now or load slightly mild loads if using SP

If I was to pick one load for all my hunting with the .308 I'd choose the 165 gr. Norma Oryx. Oddly, i have not used the Oryx in .308 but have had constantly excellent performance in .243, 7x57, 7x64, 30-06, 9.3x62, 9.3x74R, and perhaps a couple other cartridges. Norma ammunition has been completely flawless for me. And I long ago standardized my .308 ammo at 165/168 grains as the best balance of bullet velocity and penetration.

I concur. The 325 gr oryx in .366 did phenomenal performance on game for me.
