Good afternoon everyone,

I am clearly stumped on this one. This is the first time I have not been able to directly crossmatch to find the manufacturer. If someone could provide me with some guidance on whom is the manufacturer of this I would be appreciative. I have come into a rather significant amount of it as an agency I deal with is using it. I usually get clues like boxes, not this time. I am trying to decide whether to market it or shred it.

Gold Cross Match ammo was match ammo loaded by Gold Cross (my son's company) for police and military contracts.

The brass was made by Hornady with blanks purchased from Winchester.

It is probably the same as Hornady brass of that era.

The first 40,000 were loaded with Federal 210M (Match) primers. The send lot were primed with Winchester Stnd primers. We found ES and SD was about the same with the two primers, but the Winchester gave about 25 fps with the same powder charge.

Ammo was loaded with a Bofors non-canister powder. Either the one similar to RL-15 or the one that was was step faster (similar in speed to 4895).
